St Cuthbert’s Centre - Holy Island
https://www.holyisland-stcuthbert.org/
St Cuthbert’s Centre is at the heart of the Island, offering a welcome to many different visitors, and a prayerful space for individuals or groups.
The centre is open most days for visitors to call in and enjoy the peaceful space. If the Centre is not open when you call, or is being used by a private hirer, please rest awhile in the garden, enjoying the sights, sounds and scents you will experience there.
Revd Kay Blackwell, is a United Reformed Church minister. She moved onto Holy Island to become Chaplain at the St. Cuthbert's Centre United Reformed Church on Holy Island in August 2024. She is here to meet and greet visitors to this Island and the Centre. She tries to find ways of creatively and prayerfully engaging with others in this place whether they are pilgrims, Christians on retreat or just day trippers. Previously to this role, Kay was a minister of two URC churches in Hampshire and laterly the Chaplain in a state Secondary school in Oxford .
On behalf of the United Reformed Church, Kay and the Management Group are privileged to exercise a ministry of hospitality to visitors to the island. They hope to welcome you to St Cuthbert’s soon.
